Sakine Mohammadi Ashtiani is a forty-three year old mother of two children, 16 & 20 year old respectively. Sakine and her boyfriend killed her husband. Her boyfriend is sentenced to death for the killing and Sakine has been sentenced to death by stoning for committing adultery.
Both Sakine's children and her lawyer tried everything they could to stop the sentence however her stoning sentence has been confirmed. Sakine is in Tabriz prison awaiting her imminent stoning sentence.
The barbaric act of stoning must stop now!
